Alexander and Cole Tranquillity Pocket 9000 Pillowtop Lunar Plus Divan Bed - 4ft6 Double; Exclusive to Archers, the Tranquillity 9000 combines body-responsive pocket springs, deep layers of natural fillings and a soft and luxurious boxtop. Featuring a traditional hand tufted finish, the mattress is upholstered in a premium Belgian woven fabric made from the softest 100 natural viscose fibres. With 8kg per square metre of natural wool, cotton, cashmere and silk, the Tranquillity mattress boasts 4 times the quantity of fillings found in most mattresses. Its luxury pillowtop is made up of 2 layers of 2000 mini tablet springs and is separate to the main body of the mattress, allowing it to be rotated with ease. Below the pillowtop is a unique set up with 1000 inner pocket springs and 2000 mini tablet springs on either side - this part of the does not need to be rotated. Housed in their own cloth sleeve and totally independent of any surrounding coils, the pocket springs offers piston-like support to each part of the body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width. It features 2 rows of side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that39;s reserved for top-end mattresses and performed by experienced craftsmen. Using a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine, the perimeter springs are attached to the mattress border to provide complete edge to edge support. This strengthens the mattress edge and prevents it from bowing out over time and increases the sleeping area by 20 for a comfortable night39;s sleep. Unlike normal bases, the Lunar Plus divan features a strong and sturdy reinforced structure and ball-bearing style metal drawer runners as standard. Please note: Headboard is not included.
