Fully upholstered in a durable polyesterviscose fabric, the mattress features a deep quilted finish that secures the outer cover to the surface layers. The interior of the mattress consists of a robust 13.5-gauge bonnell open coil spring system, with rows of springs running from head to toe. Each row is connected by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire, with a 6-gauge rod-edge wire around its perimeter to strengthen its border.
