ASC Sapphire 3ft Single Divan Guest Bed - 3ft Single; The Sapphire is the ideal space-saving solution for a childs bedroom or a guest bedroom and can transform from a single bed to twin beds in a matter of seconds. Designed to offer a firm, yet comfortable support, the mattresses are upholstered in a soft stretch knit fabric and feature white fibre fillings and open coil spring systems. Sandwiched between its hypo-allergenic layers of white fibre fillings is a robust spring system thats made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs. Running from head to toe, the rows are connected to each other by spiral wires, known as helical wires. This allows the springs to contour your body shape. To prevent border breakdown and provide edge to edge support across its width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter rows of springs. The main bed is a full size single at 6ft3 x 3ft 190cm x 90cm, with the guest bed being 5ft9 x 2ft6 175cm x 75cm to allow it to fit snugly below. The guest bed can be used in its lowered position or raised up to the same height as the main bed by lifting each end and locking the leg into place.
