Boasting a luxurious 100 Viscose fabric, the mattress features a traditional hand tufted finish that ensures its deep layers are kept securely in place. The layers of natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk help to regulate body temperatures to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The mattress interior features a unique make-up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 2000 mini tablet pocket spring layers on both sides for additional comfort. Pocket springs are small in diameter compared to traditional open coils and housed in their own cloth sleeves that are totally independent of any surrounding springs. Reserved for premium mattresses, an added feature is side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes many years for craftsmen to master. The side-stitching process involves the outer rows of springs being sewn to the mattress border by using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle.
