The Tucano sofa combines refinement, quality materials and impeccable finishes. Leather is an old material, both precious and raw, contemporary and timeless: this isthe raw material of the Tucano desk. The Tucano desk displays a sculptural construction that explores the notion of balance. Perched on an off-centre base, the top seems to float like a balancing act. The visual lightness of the top gives a sense of precarious balance that's just an illusion. In reality, this desk is perfectly stable. The tubular structure in matt black steel serves as a support for a thin top covered with cowhide. Requiring real know-how, this traditional manual sewing technique guarantees extreme strength. Luxurious and incredibly soft, leather offers a very sensual touch.The attention to detail is reflected in the visible rivets placed on the corner joints and in the original processing of the leather, which involves reducing the thickness to create a depression that extends around the entire perimeter of the top of the surface. Tucano looks like a beautiful piece of luxury leather goods. The leather leaves parts of the steel frame uncovered, adding lightness to the silhouette.
