The choice of technique was decisive in the development of Doblecara. For the first time, the ancestral kilim technique has been combined with hand-knotting to create the lines, giving the Rug great strength and rhythm. Each Rug is handcrafted from hand-spun Afghan wool. Its rustic appearance and the irregularities inherent in this fibre combine to create a unique Rug that testifies to the beauty and authenticity of exceptional craftsmanship. Doblecara's linear geometry comes to life in four rugs with combined positive and negative colors: black-beige, beige-black, beige-red, beige-beige. nanimarquina fights child labor and is committed to improving the standard of living and education of people working in the rug manufacturing sector in India, Pakistan and Nepal.
