Due to the hollow space (hence the name Cavity), the LEDs sit relatively deep in the body and the light is emitted glare-free and directed downwards via the trumpet-shaped light outlet. Cavity Recessed is dimmable via an external phase cut trailing edge dimmer. Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf are not only the designers of this light, they are also the founders of serien.lighting.
