Its organic shape exudes a sense of vitality and allows the viewer to discover the light anew every day. Composed of over 200 plug connections, Veli is a true work of craftsmanship. The individual elements are shaped by hand and combined to form a three-dimensional body. They are made entirely from the patented Opalflex® plastic, which was developed by the Italian manufacturer Slamp itself. This plastic consists of technopolymers and glass crystals, which are extremely flexible and completely unbreakable. The material gives Veli an attractive, delicate contour, which achieves uniform light diffusion. The exciting lighting effects that appear around the wall lamp serve either as soft, general room lighting or provide accompanying light for a decorative accent. Thanks to the practical magnetic system, the lampshade can be easily removed for cleaning. The Rome-based manufacturer Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani. One of its major long-term projects is dedicated to sustainability. The manufacture of the lights from technopolymers reduces environmental costs fourfold.
