Upholstered in a traditional contract striped damask fabric, the mattress features a hand tufted finish that ensures the deep fillings are held securely in place. Internally, the mattress consists of layers of hypo-allergenic, white fibre fillings and a robust and durable spring system made up of durable open coil springs. The springs are hourglass shaped and set out in rows running from head to toe, with spiral helical wires attached to the top and bottom of each row. A thick rod-edge wire is them attached to the perimeter springs to strengthen the border and offer a consistent support across the width of the mattress.
