Deluxe Super Damask Orthopaedic Mattress - 5ft King Size; Manufactured in the UK, the Super Damask is an orthopaedic mattress that blends open coil spring, white fibre fillings and a luxurious damask fabric. To pre-tension the mattress, a traditional hand tufted process is applied by passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals. The tapes are secured on each side with a cotton tuft that pre-tensions the mattress, resulting in a firmer feel and ensures the fillings stay in place. The mattress interior is made up of robust open coil springs, set out in rows from head to toe with each row attached by a spiral helical wire. To further strengthen the finished unit, a thick rod-edge wire is fitted around the perimeter springs to reinforce the mattress border. Like any new product, the Super Damask mattress requires some care and attention and requires to be rotated and flipped over on a regular basis.
