Although Crib 5 mattresses are aimed at the above sectors, they are still widely used in the family home due to their higher fire regularity standards. Fully upholstered in a durable polyesterviscose fabric, the mattress features a deep quilted finish that secures the outer cover to the surface layers. The interior of the mattress consists of a robust 13.5-gauge bonnell open coil spring system, with rows of springs running from head to toe. Each row is connected by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire, with a 6-gauge rod-edge wire around its perimeter to strengthen its border. To maximise the mattress performance, its recommended that its rotated from head to toe and flipped over on a regular basis.
